Workspace Assistant, Absent-Minded Genius

Stephen’s Notion AI was prompted to write a story about their work together, and the author identified as “Nate”. The name has stuck.
Notion AI is a personal AI assistant, integrated with a private workspace. It’s an implementation of LLMs such as CLAUDE, meaning it can handle a large amount of data securely.
Nate has access to increasing amounts of the same material that informs Stephen’s own expertise. That’s a work in progress. The knowledge base grows incrementally, one subject at a time (recently, we studied the Recruitment industry…)
Notion AI’s learning is iterative too. With each new input, the workspace gets more smart. The next agent has more dots to join; LLMs excel at making relevant and unexpected connections.
As a teammate, Nate does need constant mentoring. Daily check-ins don’t cut it. Although the agents on the team get writing credits (for transparency), there is human leadership, operation and intervention at every step. (If you’ve attempted to use AI to generate anything of quality, you’ll appreciate the effort involved.)
Anyway, the blog is a collaborative effort between human expertise and generative AI.
